Well I just got home without my 130:(.
Just have to sort out how I'm going to get it back now.
The box is fried, Exhaust mounts are buggered, rear mudflap mount is broken, my tool box is trashed and the side step is even worse:o.
Steve has left for home so should be there is 20 mins.
that'd be my fault mate, now that Ive given you a spare rear shaft and drive flange I pretty much guarenteed that theyd never break but take out the next weakest part of the driveline.
The auto...
can I convince you to convert to manual yet?

Well Once it's home it is a case of get quotes for a rebuild and how much to put a different box in and do it properly (if a rebuild much better coolling and temp guages for box, transfer etc). Once I have a payout figure I will go on the market. Getting it home is going to be hard enough. I have accepted I need a cheaper and smaller rig.
As for it breaking it was quite a surprise. I had even checked all the fluids before leaving! Only thing needing a top up was the drivers swivel hub.
Sorry to hear your pain.:(
Let me how you manage it in the end - I had no interest in trucking companies bringing my dead 101 back to Canberra from Newcastle - in the end hired a truck and trailer and did the job myself - unfortunately the Freelander wasn't up to it.:p
