WA has parks pass fees, which are a scam and then camping fees as well. I do not mind paying camp fees if the camps are maintained.

G'day Pat.
I read this and was'nt impressed.
I dont know anymore details but I can assume its not good.
I dont mind paying a small fee but only if its not a pain in the ass
to do it.
I dont plan any trips using laptops and fancy stuff nor have I
ever bothered about two way radios and gizmo's. I havent perished yet !
I will use a mobile phone now tho.
Dont know what its like in Vic now, NSW is crap and I would not travel
east of Nyngun, or go anywhere near a national park.
I want to make one last trip thru the deserts and then retire onto some
acerage ( 1000 or more) where I can potter about in me fourby and be in
the bush without having to bugger around.
Maree or somewhere like that is right in the middle of it, eh.
Cheers.
some have self registration still and some you need to book online..
