OK, can I get through or not.
I was planning on heading out that way VERY early tomorrow morning.
If I’m unlikely to be able to get through then I’ll stick to the main drag.
Any advice?

Spicers Gap is closed. By closed we mean no access. It is not a through road anymore. As Inc says, you can go up from either side, you are just not allowed to go through.
I hope that explains it;)
AFAIK it was closed in the middle 4-5 years ago and hasn't ever been reopened, despite significant efforts on the part of the Subaru 4x4 club. I believe it was closed by QNPWS due to the presence of some rare animal... And also they were woried about the state of the macadamised section at the top. So as above - YOU CAN DRIVE UP EITHER SIDE TO THE TOP - just not through the middle bit at the top.
The aratula side is an easy gravel road up to Governor's Chair (the top). The other side was fairly rutted/muddy when I did it years ago, but still something that was doable in a stockish subaru wagon (i.e. very easy in a landie). I think the other side wasn't very well signposted.
For alternative places to go, what about the old coach road at nanango? Is that still open? Or Condamine Gorge?
Beerburrum SF has some good tracks too.
Thanks folks, you'll saved me a drive for nothing.
I’ll stick to Cunninghams Gap, just hope the road blocks cleared by tomorrow.
Cheers and thanks again.
OK, been north, been south, so I’m hoping to find something to the west, just for a change, any suggestions?
Not what you asked Tim I realise, but Beerburrum/Beerwah SF's are a tad messy at the mo'. Not entirely due to rain, but parts are being dug up to accommodate the recycled water pipeline. And the tracks we were looking at yesterday in the Beerburrum area, looked atrocious.
