Where?
My parents had no interest in football (or any sport). My sisters and I have no interest.
MY wife's family had no interest in footy either. She has no interest.
Our kids have no interest.
Must be hereditary. :D
My daughter went with friends to a Panthers match in Penrith. I told her she'd be bored.
She came home and told me that it was the most boring day she'd ever had.
Hehe Ron you stirrer!
I have to agree with Barra's comments about sport. He hit the nail right on the head. Even if he is a Carlton, Manly, The NSW Blues, Waratahs fan.
Oh No I'm feeling sick, I just agreed with a Manly fan:eek2:.
Even though you quoted the entire post you managed to edit the entire meaning of it by highlighting 2 lines.
The thing I was pointing out is that even though I have played aussie rules at a club level as a youngster and I do understand the rules I still get tired of the BS that a lot of the dead heads that think they are experts of the game and they think that getting into arguments over what should have happened and what one player should have done and what he was thinking blah blah blah LIKE THEY KNOW.........It's all crap.
I dont bother following the game as I think it has become too commertial and it's more about money and how they can bend the rules to get around salary caps etc etc and less about the actual game which used to be good.
Now when someone gets hurt on the field they can sue the player/team they were up against.
I dont go around saying what the drivers/teams should be doing with the V8's, I just enjoy watching it and if I get the chance I go and see it live which I wouldnt waste my money on with AFL.
