It would be easily done in 2 days camping one night as long as no major set backs.

I'd like to go also but wouldn't be able to know until closer to the date.

I need to get fit for this hike but ATM I feel like crud, healthy crud, bud still crud.

I'm a cranky pus, might go for a bushwalk to help pass the day.

Date for this is May 12th, if you seriously want to come on the trek pm me. We're talking about doing it in either 1 or 2 days.

    Hi Dobbo,
If you & your mates are considering doing this in 1 (or even 2) days you are definitely fitter than I am. With a full (overnight) pack, 15-20km per day, depending on terrain, is generally enough for me.

    Best Wishes,

I picked up a brochure (and spoke to the operator) about treks they do on the track. 3 Days, fully catered. They meet you with a set up camp every night.

    $750 per head.

The brochure is at work. Dobbo, ring me tomorrow night (3p-11p) at work x83197

Who is the operator that does the trek, any website?

I've never walked the track myself, but as a LT in 1991 my Field Engineer Troop (3 Troop of 'Tunnel Rat' fame from Vietnam) built Bowtell's bridge; one of my more permanent undertakings...my first marriage did not last that long!

Enjoy and remember, if you don't post any photos on here...it never happened!

    Hi James,
I'd certainly be interested in checking it out with you. Please keep me informed of plans.

I'm pretty sure that Scouse would be interested too.

    Best Wishes,
