    Angry $#@#$grrrr

Just had a call from LandRover to tell me the rear leak on my new Fender was not the door seal but a huge gap between the roof top and the body which wasn't properly fixed together. They will need to remove the complete roof I assume and fit new seal etc.

They now are getting a quote from a panel beater and then they have to submit to head office to get permisiion to repair and set a date.

If this is how things are going to start with this British junk that they have taken 60 years to learn how not to put things together properly - then I don't know how long this vehicle is going to stay with me.

Yeah, I suggest you trade it on a Japanese piece of perfection...

You know something where they can't even weld a structural suspension component properly, seal rear doors etc....

Every manufacturer has dud's.. You got a problem... So be it....

British Junk pi$$es me off..... No brand is better nowadays.... And they ARE assembled by hand which allows mistakes, alignment problems etc....

Nothing major, it DIDNT leave you stranded after all....

It most probably will, Tata might produce crap cars, but they will inject crap loads of dollars into land rover which can only be a good thing.

Hang in there Capelandy, they are sorting it out, things will get better. I would be put off by it aswell but dont loose faith.

Hi Cape. I've had heaps of issues with mine BUT they are now all sorted. It took time and patience (thought I lost it at the end) and it has come out a better vehicle for it. It truly has. So it is annoying and it is poor on there part but hopefuly it will work out better then it was.

The Landy is hand built and these things can happen. Don't worry it will be fine.
    It adds to its character
