Excellent Website Stu. Great photos, brings back memories from my own trip years ago.

The difference was we couldn't cross the King Edward River, as it was flowing too fast. We spent 3 days camped at Miners Pool on the Drysdale River and another 3 camped at the King Edward crossing.

Did you check out the Aboriginal rock paintings at the crossing? There are some Bradshaws there.

The Mitchell Falls road wasn't too bad. It took about 1h 45m to get through the 60 odd kays. The corrugations were pretty big and with the windy road you couldnt get a decent speed up to float over them.

the was a washed away creek crossing half way along that was fun to navigate.

we had to sit and watch a couple of guys trying to ride bikes through the water and mud.

Stu - great pics and what a top site to host them on. Well done.

So - who won the challenge? Did the Playdo get to be towed and/or did the Fender prove itself to not be from the dark ages?

Been to some of those places when I lived in Broome for 2 years and so they brought back a lot of happy memories.

We semi retire in 2 weeks time and guess where we will be from May to October , you got it, back up in the Kimberley.

    regards
