    suppliers for V8 starter in the shire?

    Does anyone know where I can get a Starter motor at the right price in or near the Shire? (Sutherland area)

    preferably a magnetti or a presto lite

    The old lucas starter is pretty tough, after 270k only ever had to replace 1 solenoid and have the armature skimed once.

    No nothing to do with being Cronulla supporters, it is just that it always makes laugh that he people south of the Georges River like to describe themselves as being from "the Shire", when even in Sydney we have Baulkham Hills, Hawkesbury and previously Hornsby shire.

    I live in St Geroge area and worked at St George Hospital Emergency for a time. Now that lot has an interesting relationship with Cronulla supporters. It is as if the two hospitals are extensions of their footy teams.

    It seems to me that when "the shire" folks don't want to go to Sutherland Hospital, they will by-pass Kogarah and go to Randwick for the Prince of Wales Hospital.
