I think you Blokes are talking about Rhinobuggies up at the Goldcoast
He makes Hummer Replica's base on Patrool Chassis
Rhino Buggies - Hummer Replicas - H1 - Gold Coast Australia
What he has to hope is that he isn't faced with even more work than he has planned on.
In the 1970's an acquaintance in Narrabri was building a sports car more or less from scratch.
He had to redo some things - not because he had made a mistake, but because the specifications of some of the design regulations changed from when he started.
It can happen with long term projects.
This person is building this rig in the US, only thing they worry about is emissions in California. He most likely will not have to get any engineering performed, and will be licenced off of the donor vehicle - the ford F250. The only check may be a roadworthy and thats all.
Nice work, wish I had the skills and the time.
I love the idea of a kit car - but it will have to be a road car.
That guy is simply amazing - considering he didn't even know how to weld, before he started.:clap2:
