When I was at primary school, our family car was a Swift, my mother's bicycle was a Swift, and her sewing machine was a Swift - all made by the same company in about 1931, 1900, 1860 respectively.
(Swift of Coventry failed in 1931, and the engines intended for them by the company that later became Coventry Climax were used in generators and pumps (named SM model) as part of Britain's rearmament in the late 1930s)
