Limewire and other peer to peer programs

I have been useing lime wire for about 4 yrs and know a lot off other people that use it without any problems between Myself and a couple of my mate around the country I have about 15,000 songs on my ex hard drive that we have done loaded

I have to say that newer interfaces have certainly improved things for users. But with that amount of data, surely you must have no cap?

One thing that has stung some peer-to-peer users was discovering that they had gone into over data and were landed with monstrous phone bills :eek:

Which is why I use Netspace as once you're reached your quota they only shape the account , not charge you more $$

You might have different sorts of services in NZ but we, in most cases just get speed lowered for rest of the month once we use our quota. In saying that I get 60 gig a month download and all my friends get similar so to me it doesn't seem uncommon to have more then one needs for bandwidth in Australia. I'm not so much talking rural because that is another kettle of fish.

Yeah well in NZ we pay too much for too little and when that's used up most people pay more :mad:

I usually find it necessary to modify my activities to reduce the amount I might download. Anyway, we don't have broadband here - what's sold as such is a joke.
