Ditto about the north and centre. Do it first guys or you will find it VERY arduous. Unless of course you ENJOY 110% humidity and 30 to 40 deg celsius....and endless rain, mosquitos, crocs, impassable roads, bla bla bla bla.:cool:

Have a couple of fixed points early on during the invasion plan. First is the storming of the docks at Sydney followed by overseeing the challenge in the outback at Broken Hill. This is followed by R, R & R in Singapore whilst the 110 has a well earned rest in Adelaide.
So from early June to mid December when the 110 embarks back to good old Blighty from Sydney, the invasion schedule is wide open.
So what invasion plan would the local collabrators suggest from early June to December starting in Adelaide and ending in Sydney?

North through central Oz and NW to the Kimberley's, NE to Darwin by say Aug. SE to Cairns, the daintree and south as the temp goes up.
I read a few notes re air-con a bit earlier... Do you guys tend to use it or not?
When in Africa, we didnt have it - for the first few days it was hard getting used to the appressive heat, but then it became the norm and didnt cause us a problem - windows open time!! Those that did have it however, where constantly moaning (all the time) about the heat when they got out of there cool vehicles - they never seemed to aclimatise.
Makes me wonder whether its a good thing or not for use brits in hot climes??
I drove all round Aus in the 90 with out A/C and it was fine. Just open the front vents:)Quote:
