Any photos you can show us Robert???
(please forgive me if you have already posted "yawn")
Yes, and in fairness to the Sport, it was running particularly hopeless-offroad road tyres at high pressure as it was about to be driven to Mitta Mitta and back. I was thinking no worries it'll cruise no drama round even at 40psi....probably would have done without messing about for photos!

Yes, I'll post a few. I've been flat out since I returned finishing articles. The story will be in next month's -- May -- Overlander 4WD magazine. Also LRM at some point too.
The big photo I'm working on is the Parade, I went down the line on top of an Oka taking photos as we went. Started stiching them together last night, did 10 out of about 80. I will post that one here when it is done for all to see. I'm not great (or patient) with image editors so if anyone wants to improve it they are welcome.
There were 1374 attendees driving 767 Land Rovers, with 560 in the Parade.
Interesting... I asked the question on another Land Rover forum and was told that the Guiness world record for the longest Land Rover convoy was only about 300 vehicles!
Does this constitute a new record or was the "parade" not classed as a "convoy"? I can't verify this figure but Guinness does list "parades" of cars as a category, not "convoys".

I don't know. I know it was more than the 50th here, and more than the 50th in the UK. It is more 4WDs in one convoy/parade than any other event I have heard of.
Either which way it was a damn good turnout. Although I understand some people sneaked in without paying. Poor form, especially considering all profits are going to charity.
ps "Land Rover" not "Landrover"
I ran open centre diff around all the courses to get a better turning circle. They were quite easy but still fun.
Only spilt 8ml on the water event so no wet pants in my car.
Our club (LROCV) runs quite a lot of trials events throughout the year so that could of helped too.
The convoy question was ruled out as the lineup would've closed Cooma down for hours on end,,,
as it was there was no Parade Through Town as such,, just an orderly legal group of cars all of the same make.
The Lineup at the Airport was something SPECIAL though---
