    Interesting find.

On the weekend my dad, little bro and i went to look at a kayak and found this - not sure if its a 2a or 2b ? apart from the LT95 and Isuzu donk what you cant see is the coil conversion to the front end with discs and power steering. I believe the vehicle is known to some of the LROCV members as Vic Jaegers old landy.

if it was for sale i would have to get rid of the missus avalon and buy it for her car, its great, i bet it goes well with the coils and Isuzu in too, i seen something similar back in N.Z. a few years ago, hippies driving it around the country.

I was in use till recently when the 3way fridge was updated but hasnt been touched since, the owner said they have driven it to Bourke and back a few times. So anyone know what model it is ? If it was a FC101 i would sell one of my kids to get it !

I had a picture of about 60 of these, all tray bodies, some with high trays, all lined up at the Tottenham stores, ready for shipment to Indonesia (I think it was there) It was the late 60's and they were a Gov't gift.

    Thats Great.

I wonder if it's got power steer as well as looking at the small steering wheel it would probably want to.

It has as i mentioned in my post, a nice unit all round that with a little tlc will come up nicely. There is a double bed plus brackets for hospital stretchers so you could easily sleep 4 in it, i forgot one pic of the back that has 2 spares mounted with a wiper for the rear window. Owner told me it was built for crossing the Sudan and down thru East Africa and has lift hooks on the roof so it can be lifted onto ships although i couldnt see where they were attached to.
