And during peak period, you can probably get up to much high speeds around Mt Mee than you can on the motorway.;)

Dont know if you are aware of this track but, If not head towards Warwick about 4 Ks past Aratula pub turn left into Moogerah Rd, Then about 5 ks turn right into Spicers Gap Rd. at the top is a gate go through gate and you will find a Y junction go left to look out them come back To Y/T? junction and follow the track it bring you out about 10 ks on the Warwick side of Cunninghams Gap the degree of diiculty about a 3-4 in dry weather after wet weather up to 7 + . If you use it too soon after rain go with another vehicle or have a winch as there is a creek / river crossing depending on how much rain has fallen. It is a public RD/ track or was the last time I used it (about 4 Yrs ago) it is the origanial Rd over Cunninghams Gap, People camp along it, there are pioneer,s graves a couple of old water troughs for horses still along it. Total distance from menory about 15 ks

We used to camp at Spicers Gap too. However as far as I know the track that links the campground to the highway has been closed for years. I thought more than 4 though. More like 7 years.
My favourite SE Qld 4wd camping destination is Teewah/Rainbow Beach.
To be avoided at all costs on school holidays and long weekends though.
Anything that requires diff locks and winchs to get through, the harder the better :twisted::twisted:. The 4WD parks of course, Beerwah probably the best of the forest tracks around.
For something a bit more tame, the Seven Mile diggings isn't too bad. Challenging enough for a stocker and a couple of off-shoots for the more foolhardy (like me )
Mt Mee, haven't been there for a few years and even last time it was too tame so I haven't botherd going again :(
