Thanks to everyone who participated... I managed to get 12 calls in!!! I'm happy with my effort... although I think i'm gonna get hammered next year.

Well here is the report from michael that he put up on his blog on facebook and myspace:

WELL now. Today been April fools was nothing new to me. I was up at 630 texting people a pinch and a punch...as per usual every month. Well, SEA FM had a pretty good april fools joke telling people an F1-11 was going to fly under maroochydore bridge...upside down as part of the 100 days of the bridge been open. At first when they said a fly by i was like...yeah possible, but then thought no way after they said it’d fly under the bridge. They ended up getting quite a few people.

Mix FM got Deasys in on the act and were offering the first 92 people to deasys a free upgrade to a High definition radio to every radio purchase. Again, many people were sorely fooled.

Then there was Stirlings effort. What do you do when you have too much free time on your hands? You plan an April fools prank on Mick apparently...

About 930 I recieved a voice mail msg. Equiring about my Nissan patrol which was for sale. I thought, blah, someone playin a prank.
Then at 10 I recived a call from an Indian, at first I thought he was going to try sell me something...then I realised he was trying to buy my car! And while i was on the phone to him, someone ELSE rang about my car. By this stage I thought...****, Maybe i should check ebay because apparently it was on ebay. After a quick search I found nothing.

I then sms’ed stirling and asked him if he could check ebay for me seeing he has an office job. Then I got a further 2 calls from people enquiring about my car. So now i’d had calls from brisbane, gold coast, sydney and melbourne. I then texted stirling again saying...

"If it was you buddy...I swear to christ."

Then i get another bloody 3 or 4 calls from VIC. Someone asked " why so cheap? I was like huh? and he replied, well only $200 whats wrong with it?

$200...

$200 ****ING DOLLARS! That’ll buy you like...a tire. And this is my dual locked simexed, winched, barred, doofed patrol here!


So i replied, ah yeah, just wanna get rid of it, time to move on. WTF?!? $200!!!!



In total, i recieved about 12 calls, returned one later and found some guy at a residental address...not was I was hoping, was hoping to try and get a business name and catch someone out but no avail.

Then at 1230 QLD time Stirling rings me,

S: Hey dude
M: Hey man
S: (In accomplished tone) So, hows your day going?
M: You god damn son of a bitch
M: I swear to ****ing christ...
S: Evil laughter x much
