    Home at last

    Hi all
    Well we got home last Sunday from Cooma. We all had a great time met up with some friends we haven't seen for a long time and made some new freinds. The final figures from the trip 4 states, 2 territories, 8230 kms, 947 l of fuel that cost of $1603. To top it all off when I came back to work I found the 1988 December issue Overlander special edition on the 40th Landrover birthday. Thanks to all for a great long W/E in Cooma.

    G'day Phantum

    Glad that you made it home OK, long trip, many sights, but wasn't Cooma the greatest it will stick in my memory for a Looong Time lots of friends met both old and new, some that I worked with 35 years ago, but the comaraide was the best part of it, the sights and sounds of the early series vehicles, the firetrucks leaving the airfield, the 101's going up the hill from the showgrounds, wonderfull I'am off to the Qld 60th run to the Gold Coast tomorrow in my 2a should be good.
