Talking 1987 Rang Rover Instrumentaion Electics

I am the proud owner of a 1987 Range Rover and want to make a couple of additions to the instrument panel, I know they come with a tacho, but i want to add another tacho Being speco with a shift light, i want to know whether i have to disconnect original tacho or whether i can parallel a second tacho and run both, the same with temp, battery, and oil pressure. I am looking for a wiring diagram for this as I am also running it on NOS can any one help? I have a speco temp guage with the original disconnected this was done before I bought it is there any reason parallel wont work?
