Thread: My first td5 but not first Disco!

Hi All,

Just wanted to let you know that I just picked up my new Disco'. When I say new, it's a 2001 TD5 Disco' but it's "new" to me!

I reckon I got a good deal, 93K on the clock, never off-road, full service/log book from new (September 2001). $19.5K

Now my Disco' before this was a '93 V8i dual fuel so I got to tell you that this diesel has a lot more doodads and doohickies than I'm used to.

Anyway, I'm just pretty stoked and just felt like sharing!

Just took me 10 minutes to work out how to open the back door. I'm standin' there looking for a keyhole, no joy, hey it opens from a button on the dash!

And what the heck is Electronic Stability Program and Auto Levelling Suspension?

And how's this, the new plate is AVO 6BD
