January last year on Bogong High Plains, about mid day the fog was pretty thick and we could hardly see the lights of the vehicle in front.
But worst I have experienced was many years ago heading for Barrington Tops after midnight.
Driving up the big hill from Moonan Flat, the fog was so thick we could not see the road. Crawling along in 1st gear, we could only judge where the road was from seeing where the edge grass was.
