Defender 90
Hi
Can someone tell me what the highway economy of a 3.9V8 Defender 90 would be like?

That depends how much of a hurry you are to get somewhere.
Sitting at about 100-110 km/h I usually get between 18 and 19 L/100 km. Around town its approx 20. Worst I've had (while measuring) on open road was 24L / 100 km, but I was in a bit of a hurry.
Oh, this is for a 3.9L injected V8 in a 2inch lifted 90 by the way, no roof rack.
Cheers

Ok so the figures are not very good at all. Why is the rover v8 not economical? Surely with modern EFI they should be modest figures on the highway. I would hate to see a day of offroading.
There is one on the trading post at the moment.
