There is a software upgrade (at cost ) from BBS that is incorporated in the later versions. It allows the kicker to read the potentiometers and set the height .
So in short.......complete diagnostics and height calibrations.
There is an additional requirement to FULLY understand how your system works as some of the indicated faults are actually secondary results of deeper problems.
There are also some free diagnostic systems available (& P38arover is the guru in Australia )
For MUCH more information go to:

Happy reading.
I have downloaded the free versions from the links on Range Rovers.net.
There are clear instructions to make a specialised cable, and you just need a computer of some sort, such as an old or new laptop or PDA.
It all works fine but it is not supported by a supplier, so it is a risk you take.
If not comfortable with the risks, then yes the EAS kicker and similar solutions will suit you better, and you will be paying for the additional piece of mind.
I believe these units are in the order of 200 - 300 dollars, but check it out on the links previously posted.
Cheers

						re: p38arover.
I've met him.
Not a bad bloke once you get to know him a bit !
Don't be daunted by the huge international reputation that precedes him.
I even sent him a parcel yesterday
