    Half the Watagan's are shut

The time has come as we all saw it would.

We can blame the idiots taking groups of 40+ cars up the tracks every bloody weekend

    Thanks a lot Ogjon.

Its not just the number of vehicles going up there at once it is also the morons that contunually go up there in the wet.

Do you have any details of what areas.

I would imagine it will be everywhere east and north of the pines or Watagans Rd up too Slipery Rock Rd, from Slipery Rock or maybe a little further on is Watagans State forest, Olney State Forest is south of the Pines along Watagans Ridge Forest Rd to the Basin camping area and George Downs Drive, is State Forest.

South east to Wyong is Jiliby state conservation area, i would imagine that would be off limits too, this is where Whitemans, the zig zag and Danials Pt Rd are off the eastern Watagans Ridge Forest Rd.

Don't think they can close Watagans Rd, Watagans Ridge Forest Rd as these are access roads to private property and Wyong, Cessnock Wollombi and the Putty, also Watagans NP is surrounded by State Forests, Olney, Wyong, Ourimbah, Awaba, Heaton and Watagans State Forests, unless they have come to some sort of agreement with State Forests you should still be able to access these areas.

Unfortunately the national parks extend much further than that now and include a lot of what was Olney SF.

Yes i included that, some areas noth of the pines used to be Olney SF, that area is now part of Watagans National Park, but I'm fairly sure the area south of the pines to the Basin and the NPWS Depot is still State Forest.
