    Thank you everyone for your good wishes.

    I cannot see through my left eye and my right eye is out of focus so driving is out of the question. (It's OK Peter, I can tilt my head to drink wine.)

    I went to the specialist today and my eye is healing OK. However I will be off work for another two weeks.

    I am writing this using a voice recognition system but it is really slow as it is still learning my voice.

    I'm afraid I won't be saying much on here over the next few weeks at this rate.
