Where are all the Defenders? but No Land Rover waves!

On my short sortie to work from the Southern Suburbs to the Eastern Suburbs each day it is only infrequently that I encounter another Land Rover product.

Today was something very different, a couple of current Range Rover Vogues, a Range Rover Sport, a P38a Range Rover, 2 Discovery 3s, at least 3 earlier series Discos and even a snorkled and lifted Range Rover classic, all just on the Southern Cross Drive. They were all offered the Land Rover wave but as expected not a single reply.

What I have to ask, where were the Defenders holding up their end of the procession?

I drive a similar journey each day in my 88 county and only ever get waves from defender or one tens

I've waved to every defender in Kal at least twice and they still don't wave back. Pat

Driving to and from Yass and round Yass and to and from Canberra over the last four days I waved to a number of Discos and RRs. Only Defenders I saw (where I could wave to them) was a black 90 encountered on the Barton Hwy, which I don't believe returned my wave. Anyone from here?

Also, in several visits to the Mount Rogers School in Melba where my grandchildren go to School, there is always a metallic grey 110 in the carpark, but I have not found out who owns it. Again, anyone from here?

The owner of the Black 90 wouldn't return your wave as he's probably a drug dealer

O.K I forgot about that little issue and of course all the Vogues and sports would have been en-route to David Jones' or Mascot Kingsford-Smith for the quick trip to Toorak. (You know with the new long term carpark you need a 4WD.)

But that doesn't account for the lifted RRc - perhaps lost when the OziExplorer packed up!

There are some very active members here with black Defenders! I'm sure Tipan would not be happy with the DD label.

I am south eastern suburbs and I wave so much that my teenage daughters are embaressed...........oh I see .......southeast Sydney, that explains it!
