You have meanwhile learnt a valuable lesson. Don't ask permission!.....Oh ! One always must have permission to do anything. I learnt a valuable lesson in the Military...there is such a thing as 'Tacit Permission'...that is "Should I choose to ask for permission, then the possibility exists that I may receive a positive response, therefore I can assume, given the righteousness of my quest, that I will be given permission, should I care to ask......that is the positive side.....one never considers the negative side...because it has already been established that permission will be given...should you care to ask....so since permission has been granted....there is no need to ask
Clear? ...yep...so go for it....you have permission

It's all about the strength of the cell wall when it comes to how a plant will process copper sulphate.

Water weeds and reeds dont like it because they have a fairly weak wall due to the amount of water they consume means that their cell wall doesnt need to be all that strong.

Tree's though have a tougher cell wall which the copper sulphate will just stick to the outside and not penetrate and again will only make the tree sick rather than knock it.

Yeah but they would allow that.

Or if the neighbour wanted to paint their house neon pink and fit an outhouse out front with no door...

    They would also allow that

Get real... Guidelines and rules are required....

You know what councils SHOULD BAN... LAWNS.Why?

If you put in the right lawn it is easier to maintain and uses less water than tree's and other garden plants that most people use.

But green concrete would have to be the lowest maintenance of all, put up a big fence and paint it fluro pink
