Not really black friday for me but heading out of town to a job this morning I was second or third at a semi trailer roll over. The semi was carting 28 prime angus steers. Put the hazards on and jumped out (no jumper as the disco was warm), check driver (leaking a bit but ok), seeen I could do nothing to help the bellowing cattle (poor bastards), then took over traffic control (wish some bastards would slow down abit and watch where they were going), maintained traffic controll for about 3/4 of an hour then one cop arrived and she give me a safety vest (wouldnt part with her bloody coat though), ambo's arrived, more cops, SES arrived and took over traffic control. Also in this time a couple of local farmers arrived and moved 8 cattle into one of there paddocks, permission granted by the cops to put some of the cattle out of pain by rifle until vet arrived. I think there was only 9 cattle to survive. So I was in the thick of it for just over an hour with a thin cotton shirt in rain/wind and near zero temps, didnt regain full use of my fingers for about 2 hrs.
cheers
blaze
forgot to mention the fireries were there too
