Nexon tyres!!

I have NEXEN tyres on my M3. They were on it when I bought it.
I would never buy them willingly.
They are very cheap Korean tyres, and you will get what you pay for.
The ones on my M3 have poor grip, are dangerous in the wet, but do seem to satisfactorily hold the wheel off the road.
Before Nexen, I would look at Federal, Maxxis, or Nankang. Taiwanese tyres appear to have good quality. Or of course Kumho.
Nexen are very popular with the drifting crowd in the USA. Enough said.
They are the tyres that car dealers put on cars when they have to or teh tyres put on wheel /tyre deals on Ebay.

I looked around for a second hand set of A/T for my Disco for off road use. Picked up 4 Goodyear Wrangler A/T on E-Bay for $89 bucks .... for the lot. The tyres have plenty of life left in them and have so far performed brilliantly off road, even on the mud they go ok. The only place that lets them down a little is wet bitumen, just makes me drive a little more to the conditions anyway.

If you keep your eye out there are bargains to be had .......

Yes they are a 'LT' (light truck) construction and they would suit 80%road 20%sand and dirt fine!
and they are great on road with no noise.

I'm running them. Put 4 new ones on. Not the all terrain type just standard. Got them for $129 each from Tyrepower Geelong.

The worst my baby does is pull the boat up the ramp. ;)

NanKang Mudstars 33x12.5x15 $175 ea. fitted and balanced, very pleased with grip on and off-road, noise and longevity, it may pay you to go to 15" rims, 15" tyres are much cheaper than equivalent 16''s and bigger, Regards Frank.

Sorry if this sounds dumb....: Ok so you purchase some tyres on ebay - but which tyre centre is going to want to put them on for you if you haven't purchased one of their products?? Or do you do you put them on yourself??
