Thread: Nexon tyres!!

Hi Tim,

Well you were right I am finding the TDI 200 to be "a really nice motor". Had the 92 D1 for about 2 months now, love it. I need to get some new tyres as I have road tyres on her now.

I have the 16x7JH2x33 rims.

I was just going to put a post out to ask for advice on where I could get some good second hand tyres for her, when I saw your post.

Any advice, these Nexus any good... I do 80% road 20% fun.

I'm glad your enjoying the disco!

Thay are great tyres i recomend them for the price.
We have tested them in most terains and they seem to have held up fine.
try your local tyre dealer and see if they sell them.

It would be worth trying ebay,the market section on hear etc, second hand tyres do go cheap.
We paid $160 each for the nexons.

Yeah mate, that would be great.
Would you say you are running a light truck tyre Tim...?

I am looking at 80% road 20% sand and dirt. I am not a bells and whistles man I would rather industrial strength.

I have also read round tha traps that a "light truck" tyre is stronger ply wise..?
I do a lot of k's each week down to work so hwy manners are important.
