    Unhappy Dog got run over tonite

    whilst sitting here on PC chatting , I get a call from the Misus , come over and pick us up, Dog's been Run over , Jasmine is a Cattle cross labrador , so i jumped in the car and drove to where she was run over , oh geez without getting too graphical , Picked her up ,put her in the back seat ,and took her to the after hours VET in Baulkham hills, Had to leave her there over night ,


    she mightn't make it..... had to sign a consent form , was told to call back in 2 hours to check up on her condition...what do I do now?

    Hi,

    sorry to hear about your dog. I had a Lab cross who got hit on a Friday night by a car and knocked 40 - 50 metres . Tough old breed! Survived the hit. A long weekend thou.

    Fingers crossed that it goes well.

    Couldn't stay at the VET , had to take my misus back home to pick her car up to go to work, I asked her to take the night off ,she said she couldn't because she works at an Aged care Home it was too short of a Notice. and they had no-one else.. otherwise we both would have stayed there and strung it out.

    It's awful when this happens to a member of the family.

    Hope she's does pull through O.K. - they are a tough breed but cars are so very big in comparison.
