I bet Gloria Jeans are rubbing their fingers together. More money for God hey.
Xav
Gloria Jeans recently opened up in our main street....
Went in to buy some jeans but they tried to sell me coffee .....
...Wots their coffee like anyway.. ???
Ron B,
You are rating any of the Starbucks or Gloria Jeans too high at 'average'. Average is any good Greek, Italian coffee sheep where they serve coffee like it should be.
The Yank misguided attempts at coffee are well below average to a discerning coffee snob!!!
Yep ... sorry to say I reckon I'd go close to being a coffee snob. Id rather have tea than instant .... and I don't usually drink tea.
Espresso for me. Usually a double shot with a wee dram of hot water.
Gloria Jeans et al are IMHO tres ordinaire. With apologies to all the aficionados of Flat White, Slim White, Capicino, Flufficino, Moccacino, Chocacino and all the other rubbish .. :soapbox::soapbox::soapbox::soapbox::rocket::rulez ::angel:
Though I did have an excellent cup recently at Tania's down at Wellington Point. Our current is Merlo's Private Blend.
Must like it as we go through a kilo every 2 weeks ...
must agree Rosco.....only good brewed coffee for me:D...........I usually chug through at least 1kg in 2 weeks.....getting as expensive as diesel :o
Ron B....have you tried Wild Bean coffee at BP servos........not too bad;)
Mrs ho har:angel:
I went into a local BP and asked if the coffee was any good. The woman who was about to make it said she didn't drink/like coffee so she didn't know.
I didn't buy one. If the barista doesn't like coffee how can they make a good cup?
I buy a variety of freshly roasted beans from Morgan's, my local roaster here in Emu Plains. I buy different roasts for my espresso machine and for my plungers.
