Mrs ho har:angel:
ho har is going to print them at work tomorrow do you think we could make a tidy profit from them????
What twallop, I find this whole...I drive an LR so I'm so much better than such and such............whoopdy doo.......seriously.........it beggars belief ( should note only using the above comment as an example). If anything it is statistics, more people buy jap 4WD's so there will be a higher proportion of potential idiots. That doesn't rule out those that own LR's........I've seen a few **** LR drivers on and off road.Quote:
One thing that always surprises me is the conceived fact, that once one owns a " (insert asian vehicle make) " 4WD, it is immediately a vehicle capable of climbing Mt Everest and "swimming Lake Argyle"
The dickhe*ds in 4WD's far out number those who know what they are doing.
Fortunately I don't see many Land Rover owners doing the same routine. Maybe common sense is involved in the selection of vehicles, hence the lack of "rabbits" in Land Rovers. :D
As for the conceived fact.......again....rubbish. More likely a novice 4WDer of any make who may think that...............F.F.S......I was one of those people :D. First 4WD....$110k D3 HSE, drove it onto the beach at Bribie Island and bogged it with high tide coming in, thankfully got snatched out before it became a bloody expensive aquarium.........and snatched and helped by about 5 people in their jap 4WD's.........thank god. I didnt know about letting tyres down.....or switching off DSC....or putting it into low range........just thought I switch to sand mode and off I go. Very important lesson learnt, joined GCLRO, bought recovery gear and did an off road driving course. I have seen people do similiar in late model D3's and Rangies.
Has absolutely nothing to do with brand of car driven.....its the person behind the wheel that makes the difference..........one eyed comments like that are soooooooooo easy to drive straight through:soapbox:,

Well said Stevo.
Australians love the pioneer, get-out-there-and-do-it spirit but we can be very quick to criticise people who stuff up in the process of learning the hard way.
Do we really want a country full of risk-averse and timid people?
