I can even see the dog in the driveway at my place!
Glad it's not a live feed.
Any one caught up with this?

It is a little scary, the whole world can look at the front of your house, IF they know the address. Given that it is in the phone book, all they need is your name.
I had a look at ours and sure enough, the Disco is in the carport and caravan on the front lawn!

I had a look at my place. Not sure if i like it or not. I am about to upgrade the car security here anyway though. Thank God the lightweights being moved.
Boy this IS scary. This was taken last Summer with the 110 in front yard. I wonder who got the job of doing the photography?

The sun hits the camera directly as it gets to my house so all you see is strings of lights! Had a play with it, it looks so amazing.
That's interesting. I was going down my street and my neighbour was out walking and when it got to her and the dog the screen won't focus properly. So it must be a privacy thing.

That is amazing. How many millions of photos must they have taken? You can "walk up" and down the street, and rotate, so maybe it is a video taken from a moving car?
my place looks like the pic was done before I bought it...
wonder how they pulled it off...

Yes, it was a moving car. I noticed when they got to the dirt section of my road they didn't go any further. That's a bit naughty I thought. But then I recalled it was on a VW beetle or something. There was a thread on here about it previously.
WOW ! ! !
My place was done on a tuesday morning (bins are out) during summer (?.. lawns are dead) ..
can't see my dogs, my car is missing but Annettes is there
Landy Andy started a thread on here in April, with a link from you Xavie to that VW
I agree it's a touch creepy but it's a fantastic technical achievement - they have literally driven ever single street of pretty much the whole country photographing constantly.
When they started it in the US they initially covered just the CBDs of major cities so to see pretty much the whole of Australia mapped and photographed is quite frankly amazing considering the distances involved.
Pity the poor sod who had to drive the Stuart and Eyre Hwy's just to photograph mile upon mile of desert.
