I use the H110, or now the H112 from Australian Pump Industries. Not as cheap as a Kaarcher, but still plastic internals. The dearer range have brass pumps, etc. But this one has been good to me for the last couple of years.
Hi All, After throwing god knows how much money at the local car wash, I have decided to buy a pressure cleaner. Just wondering which make and model to go for. I have heard some bad reviews about the current karcher range. Has anyone had any good advice of what to go for and how much pressure I need to remove mud from a big weekend in Harvey.
Any advice would be appreciated.
cheers Matt

I have a Karcher...will have to check out the model next time I am in the shed, was $99 and has been excellent for not only the car but around the house as well,

you obviously arnt in melb! we cant even use them anymore
We were an agent for Kaarcher, we never sold one, but go tons of warranty returns.
Gotta love those cheapo hardware shops........ not!
They'll flog you anything, but when it comes to after sales service..... it ain't there.
I have had a Gerni for about 4 years, very good and it isn't a plastic internal like the Kaercher

we use a kaarcher to brought ours over with us from the uk....
and i'm not sire why you cant use one in melbourne....are they just banned full stop for OH&S or something
in sydney your not allowed to use them with the hose, but we have ours running off the water tank!.....as i'm sure most people do
you can also rig them up on a sack trolly with the bucket above the kaarcher that works too![]()
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
Tell us more. Why cant you use a cleaner in Melbourne?
I was led to believe that they dont use as much water as a tap.
I live in Toowoomba where it is rumered where we will go to cooking only with town water. Please Explain.
THANK YOU.
Colros
Melbourne's water restrictions prevent us from washing our cars at home. I guess you could hook it up to a water tank no problems.
But currently my Karcher sits in the garage gathering dust.
I use my Karcher with a water tank.
When the tank is empty, you fill it from the tap.....
Not really, my 10,000 litre tank has never been emptied. We collect condensate from the air con into a bucket for use on the garden.
