agree report it and have yourself checked out especially being as though you said it bloody hurt and that your neck hurts......... if there is a crack in your helmet it has done its job well taking the force BUT the helmet doesn't protect your neck

and you may of damaged something there, may not realise it now but may show its ugly face later you never know, so its best to know

You should have got off the bike and given the driver a crack in the back of the head

couldnt agree more.. neck and head injuries can come back to haunt you... so dont delay! especially judging by the spelling you must of taken a hit

seriously tho... listen to those who know best (not me the others!)

glad it wasnt worse tho.. been in a few close calls myself.. amazing considering how brightly i dress on my bike!

    Thanks

He's rig was so high that the first thing that hit was his winch to the back of my head. very, very low speed but it stil bloody hurt. big crack in my hemet and a sore neck/ head. but all round ok.
I pull over a he's first repose was you ok...
    uh I guess.
cool... so we dont have to report it.
at this point i'm completly stumped.
later found out the bloke is uninsured

what idiot drives that sort of truck with no insurance???

well thats my rant for the day.
    cheers steve
That sucks man. I do some dumb stuff on my bike, but it always make you wonder when someone else will do something dumber

As far as the insurance goes, if your insurance company sees you as being in the right, which you were, they should pay for the repairs etc, then they'll chase him for the money, not you. Make sure you get your neck checked out.

    Glad to hear you're okay

If you're helmet is cactus, then that's damaged property so it's got to be reported - nothing will probably happen if you don't but he owes you a brain bucket.......

As others have said, get yourself checked out. Especially for concussion or slow bleeds, which can be very serious.

As to your question. I think it answers itself. It is that kind of idiot who drives a modded truck like that, and carries no insurance.

Not insured because his car is uninsurable....doesn't stop you from taking civil action though
