    The google car just went past.

    I think the google car just went past. Nissan Xtrail with tripod with cameras on the roof. Drove down my street in Ringwood 5 minutes ago, and then again just now. The car was pretty beaten up . But had Reflective checkers on the corners. Maybe they were too busy looking at the pictures and not the road.

    Maybe they're updating, because I can already see my house. Its sooooooo exciting. Maybe i'll see the rangie online in a few months with the boot open, and me gawking out the front door.

    From what i read and from some of the shots where the car is visible in the photo the Google cars are apparently Holden Astras but they may well have a varied fleet. Otherwise it could be someone else doing a similar thing.

    could be the local thieves.......they then go home& work out which house looks the go


    or maybe sit at home & go through google earth...

    wonder if it had stolen plates?

    I wonder if the Google car has ever passed something reflective ...so you can see the car in the photo ?
