Back at work thismorning, running water temp 6', air temp 7.2', snow not to far away. Thermals washed,patched and back on :D.Cant get the ute close to treatment plant,so hafto shelter in sea container, now know what its like to be froz fish finger.

the other day,while cutting a bearing off an air con shaft,with the oxy ,part of the bearing fell into my boot,gave me a nice burn & a huge blister has appeared.warmed me up....it was 19'c in the shade:angel:......& it bloody hurt:(

I wear shorts all year 'round - even when working at Katoomba in the middle of winter. I'm in shorts now - it's 2 degs outside.
I don't own thermals.

I was welding during the week then laid down on the MIG welder handle's nozzle. I was in shorts (as usual).
I just had a call from the bloke at Katoomba office - it's snowing. :eek:
