    fitting wing top chequer plate

    Iam sure this is just a matter of drilling the holes and then riviting these on??\do i need to do anything else..

    I put sealant under mine especially around the edges so that dust etc does not build up under them, otherwise as you say, just drill and rivet.....Brian

    When I was younger (4 yrs ago ), foolish, and obviously had more money than sense, I bought a pair of genuine LR jobbys ....

    They came with a thin sheet of sticky back foam that you applied to the u/s of the ally as a sandwich between the plate and the guard top. You could always get some of the thin strip and use it around the edges as a seal. With some extra down the middle if you wished.

    sikkaflex the edges and put some in the middle to stop drumming
