Help to kill a varmint

I thought wombat to start with as the neighbours have a similar problem under the house and under their water tank, but they are very destructive animals and will move a power of dirt.

You can always try and smoke them out by building a fire nearby and fanning the smoke down the hole. this is quiet a good option also and has worked in the past for me.

I am cautiously claiming success tonight, after more than 24 hours of nothing re-digging in/out of the closed entrances/exits.

Looks like the several hundred litres of water may have done the trick.

Alternatively, the family may be visiting some other burrow on my property that I have yet to discover........

None that I have heard of but don't see all that much of my neighbours, except down at the shops.

Have you asked at the local produce store (was called Dalgety's back in my day :o) - either there or the front bar of the local.

Dog nuts, Dog Food, dry food, meaty bites. That sort of thing. You have to soak them so they are soft otherwise they are too hard to set on a trap. For whatever reason I have always called them dog nuts!
