Must be a low self esteem thing. Wanting to change ones appearance but too lazy to either bulk up or lose weight.

I don't need them, I actually like the way I look.

Sorry, I forgot I'm suppost to be a keyboard warrior therefore I should be the one with the tats, and low self worth.

Bit like, changing user names here. We all know who you are, you just look different.

Of course there are exceptions to everything.

I hope everyone still know who i am . I didn't change my name not to be known .Hence having ( Was Wannalandy ) in my sig . All my tattoo's have personal stories behind them and i enjoy having them and when people see them and i'm more than happy to tell the story of the tattoo i have . If you don't want tattoo's that fine but why take the **** out of people that do have them ?

it always happens with the Tattoo threads, and some who have seen it before should know better then to provoke the issue.

I have a tattoo which I spent quite a bit of time thinking about before I got it. There is a story behind it and I will not be sharing it as it is a personal thing.

It has nothing to do with low self-esteem, I cannot even see it. Very few people will get to see it as I am not making a statement to the world. Nor do I hide it, it is just a part of me.

I started this thread because I thought it was very strange for someone to do that to a tattoo let alone themselves

I don't particularly like them, but that is on me......but that is not to say I can't see the artistic side to most of them...

So please don't send this thread "down south" as has been sugested

i dont have a tattoo, but i have often thought about getting one! but not sure enough about one knowing it will be with me for the rest of my life..

doesn't mean to say i dont like them,

dobbo to make an assumption that someone gets a tattoo due to low self esteem or due to laziness i feel is just being slightly narrow minded.

people get tattoo's for many reasons, and much deeper reasons than they just fancied a change of there apperance!

some people get them, just from there artistic traits, others closure, some for memories, some for fashion, some for identity and loyalty. there are many many reasons for it.

but i also know a number of people that dont like them....but one thing i have found is the ones that dont like them can usually only really say a couple of reasons why not to get them...."it looks crap" "they will be with them for the rest of your life" and " why would you i just dont see the point" where as the people do have them can give many more reason why they get them.
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

Ah each to their own in my book. Don't mind tatts, thinks some are pretty artistic. That pic of inserting boobs............, couldnt think of anything worse having a lumps on my leg. Not a fan of piercings either, but again each to their own. I have man cans, not everyones cuppa tea . We only live once, so if somebody wants to tatt, pierce or whatever, who cares,

    Regards

    Stevo
