    LPG prices

everyones been talking about diesel,& petrol prices of late, what about we talkabout the rediculous fluctuations in lpg price.

today while out doing a few jobs, went past the local caltex,& the price is 75.9c/l.A bit high, price is usually around 63-69c/l.Later in the day ,go past two caltex garages, one opposite the other,on the same road, one is a woolworths, one not.One has a price of61.7c/l,the other 79.9c/l,the most expensive i have ever seen it in Brisbane.

this is an increase (or difference) of nearly 30%

    has anyone else noticed this?

    cheers

Yes I too have noticed a gap in prices BP around town seems to vary by the suburb.

I haven't seen it at 79c per litre yet but it sounds like Paradise rd where you are talking about. The shell on Chatsworth rd was 61 last week and BP Springwood 65

I think LPG and Diesel are being used to subsidise petrol

There are 3 servo's on Chambers Flat Rd, Marsden Brisbane, at least one of them have LPG for 43/44c. When I went past today the Caltex had it for 43c and I think its a Shell had it for 44c then the Mobil had it for 70c. Last week it was Mobil that had it cheap. I cant work it out!

LPG and diesel prices really vary from station to station, ULP not so much. Pays to shop around and know where the normally cheap places are.

    Diesal & Lpg

We have a new government with this government thought was that they could do something about the exorbitant prices of all fuels. What has happened is sweet .... all . It would seem that no government (except Argentina ) has the balls to take on these multi nationals. The whole thing is nothing but a complete capitulation to the oil moguls of this world....Remember that movie ...the gunless gutless wonders....that's what our goverments are ...both past and present.

I find that LPG does not vary much within a station. Some stations hover around expensive prices (upper 60s-low 70s) while others usually hover around the lower end of the 60s.
Some places I am almost always guaranteed a good price is the Shell on the corner of Kingston Rd and Moss St in Slacks Creek. Also the Mobil? on the corner of Kingston Rd and Compton Rd. The Woolies on Mains Rd and Shell on Mains Rd are usually low too.

The highest I've seen in Brisbane is 71.9c/L Also for whatever reason I have never got a good price on the northside of Brisbane.
