    Jesus Weeds!..

Is the a similar plastic plug on the drivers side of the vehicle?

If so ...just as well you weren't driving 4 feet to the left!!

This a very serious thing and thanks for sharing, Weeds.

However with my silly hat on, may I suggest that the plugs be replaced by a small cylinder of vasoline or similiar to make this less damaging to the driver or passenger should this event recurr.

In the early 80's, I had a star picket go through the driver's side floor of an XY Falcon ute when driving slowly in a farmyard. Had been lying on the ground. Combination of being bent, end over hole and front wheel ran over it. Had to cut in half to get it out.
