You have no idea how well they hold up in comparison to new tractors these days.
Just for an example, I had some hydraulic problems with the Daedong DK551c recently (Hyundai of tractors or maybe Kia) where the pressure dropped off.
Tested the Daedong and it tested up at 2700psi which the Daedong supplier waid was adaquate and within the range so I tested the Kubota L4330 which came in at 2950psi and the Fergie 135 was 2750psi.
I havnt tested the flow but it does have the high flow pump in it but Im not sure off hand what it should flow but it is deffinatly more than the Daedong.
The Fergie is easier to teach the new trainee's to drive as well as pretty much unbreakable.
The main draw back is they are not all that turf freindly being only 2 wheel drive and fairly narrow tyres etc but great for what we use it for.
Price tag,
In original condition (fairly rough but working type) your looking $2500 to $5000,
In fair condition (Rough panels but mechanically sound) $5000 to $9000,
In good condition (Very straight and mechanically sound but original paint etc) $7000 to $12000
In excellent reconditioned condition (Reco everything and new paint tyres etc) $10,000 to $20,000
All these prices are for MF135's and your looking minimum mid range to a couple of grand higher on those prices if it has a FEL
20b's take about 1/3rd off those prices.
Same tractor, normally have more accessories but are yellow and generally have high hours on them due to being used on councils and in sand and soil suppliers most of their lives but they are so simple and parts are cheap.
On parts, there is a great supplier here in Carrum downs which someone on here posted up and I have used them since and they are terrific for all things tractors but I cant remember their name off hand but Im sure there will be suppliers up there in QL.
