But for Sleepy it was all fun!

Visit mates on the way,
Makes cold starts bearable every day!

(by lots of trucks being passed!)

Till the sun, it melts the ice away!

Smiling broad ear to ear,
Probably never again able to hear!

Taking it on the home run!

So Swamp Rat is now home,

Do any of the old timer LROCA members recall a single (record) made by the club circa 1966 after the introduction of the 6 cylinder engine into the Series 2a LWB range?, titled I think 'The Toyota Salemans Lament" The tune of the song was based on an old Drovers song that I can't recall right now.
Anyway the first verse (not sure if there was more than one verse) goes something like this.
I've been with Toyota for nary a year
and the sales i've been making have brought me good cheer.
but the LandRover 4s beat our sixes to hell
and now I've just heard they have sixes as well.
(chorus) No Nay Never, No Nay Never No More.Will we catch the LandRover. No Nay Never No More.

one f those original records should be worth squillions to some wealthy LandRover tragic:)
