As i am new to Brisbane has anyone got suggestions where i can take her for just a day trip to experince off roading. i have looked at some 4x4 parks but they dont allow solo vehicles . The problem is that i dont know anyone here to go with . Is there anyone out there who may be willing to join us ? any help or advice would be appreciated. would have to be within the next 10 days

Mt Mee SF is a good option to so solo. Fairly close to brissie and most tracks are quite easy.

I went to Mount Mee Forest on sunday, there are quite a few tracks been closed off but I found a few still open on lovedays road.

On another note, where can you purchase a map of the forest from ???

taslev, the forest would be an ideal place to go exploring as it's all fairly easy routes. You also get to see a bit of wildlife. Would love to join you but this weekend is booked up, can make 27th/28th if not too late

We came across this python on one track

Condamine gorge between Boonah and Killarney is pretty good if you want something really easy. Its a really nice place to visit, nice creek with some nice places to stop and have lunch or whatever.
