Anyone got a map like this???

OK fellas... Im trying to get to grips with Sydney suburbs - where they are generally!

At the moment Im having to keep flicking between google earth & domain.com.au.

Trying to see house prices, areas, access to roads / trains / CBD etc etc.. and build up a mental picture...

So I'd like a map of sydney and outer commutable area showing the suburbs if possible. Does it exist???

    Thanks
    Jon

If you know the suburb, http://www.whereis.com/index.htm may be a help, you can zoom in and out for more detail.

nrma (as in the above site) has lots & lots of very good paper maps, they may post them to you if you ask nicely..

    Department of Lands runs this-
    https://six.maps.nsw.gov.au/wps/port...2N0ZFOTEwMDc!/
It's probably more detail than you really want. It's based on aerial photographs.

Here is a pretty one of the CBD -
    :*:OnionMap:*:

    Umm, maybe Whereis is better.

The Lands SIX viewer is very good if you want a clear aerial photo of a specific address.

    Cheers

You could also use the Government sites 131500 Transport Infoline - Home

Or Google maps instead of Google earth Google Maps There are a number of overlays you can select.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
