The old Isuzu engine to LR transmission adaptors. A bit rare. You could try this crowd, although they appear to be into the Jap 4x4 Marks 4wd Adaptors Home Page
Guys
A mate and I are doing a transplant.
we have a 89 RRC which used to have a 2.4L Italien diesel in.
We now have a 3.6L Isuzu and need a little help.
Need to source bell housing and adapters etc.
Does anyone have one or know of one or know where and or who can make one.
Any help would be appreciated.
Its to go up to a LT77. i know that box could be a weak link but will be well driven and not abused, may even consider a LT95 conversion for toughness.
What do you all think?

It's on the other side of the country but talk to Bruce Davis. There is a 130 TD5 getting around that has had this done.
Plenty of information (not all good) in the Isuzu Landy forums - go to the forums page and scroll down till you see it.
The 3.6L is the same block as the 4BD1 3.9L. The standard gearboxes behind the Landys fitted with these were Lt95(4 speed) and Lt85(5 speed) Unfortunately, even if you use one of these boxes, the flywheel housing and bellhousing are very hard to find second hand. You can buy them new, but they are far from cheap.

Oh, why didn't i think of that.
Thats 1st placed i looked, was just looking at perhaps new places or ideas, most links there are from quite some time ago.
All good, we will work it out, I do realise though that some guys on here are seemingly geniusses. Hence me asking again and cause its a 3.6 not the usual 3.9L donk.
I know what you meant.
No problem.
Got hold of a guy so far who may have all we need.
Great forum.
This forum been so much better than the VW one that I dropped that for this.
People here are friendly, knowledgeable and use their cars for what they were intended for most part anyway.
