Sometimes the Yanks get it right in the styling department - other times they are just wrong !!!

    I recently sold this -

It's an imported Ranger - almost original except for conversion to RHD and it had a Chev 6.5 V8 Diesel in place of the original 351. Original C6 auto and Ford 13" diff were still in it. I reckon that this thing looked good (though some will disagree - my parents hated it with a passion).

But IMHO, that Bronco is just butt ugly. If it wasn't for the Ford label on the grille, I'd swear it was designed in Russia.
    Cheers .........

I tend to agree, it looks way older than '74! Although this one looks pretty good when they finished with it!

I quite like the ones from the mid-late (?) 80's.

RosettaQ, I second having a look at Ausjeep - give you some insights into the Commander and what some of the guys have done with them - including a 4" lift, hehe. Enjoy!

    Cheers

    Me Too

    Mate, Don't feel so bad!

There are 3 types of people in this world.

    Those who own Land Rovers.

    Those who own Jeeps.

    And those who don't!

Brian gotta remember that Bronco was built in the 60's, the 80's model Broncos were spoofy and great off road as well, Regards Frank.

One of the Commanders lives just over the road from me. It is a nice car although it does not go off road ( a condition of purchase I think, according to home command). It does tow and does travel well. Mother says that the rear seats are lacking, but her feet would not touch the floor so........

    Very nice looking vehicle.

Hey, have you had a chance to look at the H1 Hummer? I would have thought that Lion Rock etc would suit its long gate (read measurement from hub to hub). I heard they turboed the big fella? Could have a dance inside I know they are unpopular and in some's view crasssssss, but I beileve they are capable, not in tight scrub, but capable anyway. No need for a trailer they could carry all may be an economical (not for fuel but who cares if you are going to have one) but in purchase price over there.

    Regards,
    PeterW

Look at You Tube "Hummer Tribute", Scorpians "Still Loving You" sound track. Nice
