Images of Billy Bob, canoes, piggy squeals and banjos went flying though my head. How very relieved was I when I saw him liberally coat everything electrical on his V8.
As I was liberally spraying all things electrical in one of the buggies today I realised that the Wurth electrical silicone spray would work as well.

Dobbo's post but in a spray can, comes out liquid and turns into Vas in seconds.

Stays around well afer getting washed and heated etc but again not cheap.

Many years ago, a couple of blokes drove an old nissan patrol across Lake Macquarie (largest salt water lake in Aus).

They had a tall extension on both inlet and exhaust to reach above the surface.
