a week after they built that i drove my then stock 91 v8 disco over that, ( it was a sunday arvo on the way to speedway and the security poles wernt up:cool:) the movable bump on the up hill side was up and the disco ****ed it in!
3 days later i was at the car yard opposite watching a cruiser ute and playdo have a chop at it......lets just say that the movable bump was lowered for them to continue:eek: i would have killed to be a fly on the wall of both cars:twisted:

I suspected they used the ute for dramatic effect - with its stiff suspension.

and the voice is very very annoying, almost robotic with a slight glitch!

....and here's what happens when you drive a Toyota Landcruiser without lockers over the device. See, it stops when one wheel comes off the ground. Now, watch what happens when we engage our ARB lockers which cost $$$$'

'Now, here comes a Land Rover. They have ETC. See, no problems, they don't stop and complete the challenge easily without lockers.'

That's why ARB will never let you drive over it.

On the other side? I would think that the diff lock stand would be at the beginning because people who couldn't get over it would have to back out. And quickly fork over the $$ to fix it.

ARB had it at the Henty Field Days. Looked great

I have actually been considering looking for the ETC module to my RRC. Aparently there is no need to change ABS ECU, just bolt on the unit to the master cylinder, connect the lines and plug it in and its all go. If its cheaper than doing a locker, I think I may do it!
